Sister Hale in Seattle

Spiders are creepy. Update for this week: I don't appreciate spiders very much. There are literally SO MANY that have taken up a home outside our door, so I vacuumed up a lot this week  This week we asked our friend Brandon to prepare to be baptized on November 6th and he said he would!! He's so curious and he wants to learn and it's awesome!!! It can be annoying when he's 30 minutes late or doesn't show up to church or our lessons though, which happens somewhat often  But at least he's getting there  We also did some service this week, a half hour violin/art lesson with an Indian family, and the mom made us this dish called samosa, it's like a spicy potato thing and it was SO good. High key a miracle because we were like completely exhausted that day and the samosa made us feel so much better, it was awesome  Scripture of the week: 1 Thessalonians 5:21 "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." Whale Hale-O there   (If you know you know)  Update for this week: We helped our friend Annette clean some of her garage today, so that was a little nostalgic lol jk jk but it was fun  AND as a BONUS it protected us from the pouring rain and the lightning, except when it almost flooded into the garage lol. Later, she and her son Connor also came to dinner with us at the Ward Mission Leader's house and that was super awesome :) we were able to talk a lot about the priesthood and it was great  Also this week we met with a lady named Mariah and she is SO nice, she arranged a vase of flowers for us   it was awesome :)) Funny Quotes: • "OH my GOSH, it's the Mormons!" - a lady after we knocked on her door • "I would pay you so much to say that. Good times   Update for this week: This week we went on our exchange and it was really awesome :)) I got to go to Pine Lake with Sister McCurdy and it was AWESOME! We had so many lessons and did a lot of finding and it was just a super fun and well balanced day :) Also there were like 7 people who said they were gonna come to church yesterday and only our friend Peter actually made it, so that was sad :(( but also it was great to have Peter there!  But we also had a lesson with him later that day with the Chinese Sisters and we clarified the Word of Wisdom and Law of Chastity and it went great! It doesn't feel like there's a week between P-days.... I go to sleep and wake up and it's p-day again   Update for this week: This week has been BUSY!! We had interviews this week, which was awesome :) We also invited our friend Jesse to be baptized again, this is like the 3rd time I've been here and we've invited him to be baptized... he said no again.   it's so sad to know that he knows basically everything, he just doesn't want to change :((  We also met with our friend Brandon at the temple before church, and told him about the Plan of Salvation, and he thought it was amazing! He came to church with us after and the testimony meeting portion of sacrament was AMAZING! A bunch of the youth and kids were getting up to bear their testimonies and it was so powerful :) We also met with our friend Daniel, along with the YSA Elders and we had a fantastic lesson about faith   he had a lot more of his super deep questions, especially about like how can we believe...
