Week 45 or something.... Samosa and Sabaoth

Spiders are creepy.

Update for this week:

I don't appreciate spiders very much. There are literally SO MANY that have taken up a home outside our door, so I vacuumed up a lot this week πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

This week we asked our friend Brandon to prepare to be baptized on November 6th and he said he would!! He's so curious and he wants to learn and it's awesome!!! It can be annoying when he's 30 minutes late or doesn't show up to church or our lessons though, which happens somewhat often πŸ˜’
But at least he's getting there πŸ˜‚

We also did some service this week, a half hour violin/art lesson with an Indian family, and the mom made us this dish called samosa, it's like a spicy potato thing and it was SO good. High key a miracle because we were like completely exhausted that day and the samosa made us feel so much better, it was awesome πŸ₯³

Scripture of the week:
1 Thessalonians 5:21
"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."

I love this scripture because growing our faith is really an experiment! As we study and learn, we can test our knowledge and look for the feelings we get from the Spirit and as we do, we can prove for ourselves what is true! This is how we gain proof:)

Funny Quotes:
• "Little do they know they're in our area book" -Sister Kenney
• Guy we tract: "I'm not really interested and I don't want to talk anymore" me: "ok! Is there anyone-" him: *waves and shuts the door*
• "Sleeping is my favorite activity" -me
• "May I touch your mug?" -me to Sister Kenney because my hands are cold

Fun Fact:
Sabaoth is a plural form of "hosts" or "armies" which means that in the scriptures when it says "Lord of Sabaoth" it's basically saying "Lord of Hosts"
