I wonder why people use bananas as phones instead of apples.   Update for this week: Y'ALL. KAYDENCE GOT BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY AND IT WAS SO GOOD   It was her birthday too (she turned 10), so prob the best birthday present anyone can ask for. But yeah it was awesome. There were so many people there though, she got SO nervous! She started crying and I felt so bad for her. But we talked her through everything and she calmed down a lot. When she came up out of the font she had the BIGGEST, HAPPIEST smile on her face and it made me so happy. :))) she is just the sweetest! We were also asked to speak in church on Sunday, so that was exciting! XD We asked one of our members to translate a portion of our testimonies to give in Tongan and it ended up great! Hopefully we pronounced the words right lol. I shared a favorite poem of mine that was in our study guide about the Atonement, and I started crying and then a bunch of other people started crying too lol. The Spirit was super s...

I have been practicing Tongan XD here is a word for you to learn: "vakai" (pronounced exactly how it's spelled "vah-kai") = behold Update for this week: One of our friends' families gave us beef stew yesterday, with rice! It was super nice :)) and we also may have gotten horse from someone else... it wasn't bad   we aren't sure whether they were joking about it being horse tho sooooo  Kaydence is getting baptized this Saturday!!!!! We are SO excited  There was also a baptism last Saturday, for a member in the ward! Their daughter turned 8 :) there were A LOT of people, it was kinda crazy! And they asked us to fill the font for them so we had to go a couple hours early and figure it out  This week we also were going through our records and found A TON of random people with phone numbers or partial addresses and stuff like that, and we're working on contacting them all   it's kinda a party, because half the time their numbers don't work hah...

I'm not gonna lie. Weekly emails are such a commitment. And sometimes I am so lazy. But. I will try to make this one good   Update for this week: We went knocking on people's doors a lot this week, in many different apartment complexes, and found many people that were interested! Except that least one of them may not actually be interested... here is the story haha So basically, this guy named Isaac lived on the 3rd floor. We knock on his door, talked to him,got his number, gave him a pamphlet, and he said we could come back! Then we leave and knock on the rest of his downstairs neighbors XD We got to the last door on the first floor, which is like under the stairs, and nobody answers (which was a #miracle) because then Isaac and his friends come out of their apartment and one of them is like "are the mormons gone?? I wanna talk to them!" And not in a nice way haha so we just... waited under the stairs... while we heard them complaining about "the mormons ALWAY...

We had a good week   Update for this week: The snow has melted!!! HOORAY!!!! Back to rain hahaha This week we went to a funeral... It was someone in the ward, and they do a combination of both Polynesian and regular services. It was nice. We also found a lot of interested people this week, which was awesome!!! But we had to refer them all XD Scripture of the week: 2 Nephi 9:18 "But, behold, the righteous, the saints of the Holy One of Israel, they who have believed in the Holy One of Israel, they who have endured the crosses of the world, and despised the shame of it, they shall inherit the kingdom of God, which was prepared for them from the foundation of the world, and their joy shall be full forever." Funny Quotes: • "You know you're a missionary when..." Fun Fact:
