Sister Hale in Seattle

  Y'all we had so much food this week   Update for this week: Members are basically always feeding us haha, whenever they have an activity they have food and they usually try to give us the leftovers haha On Thanksgiving a bunch of families in the ward had a potluck Thanksgiving and we went because we thought they were playing games, but we ended up eating with them   they had this drink called otai that was like watermelon and other fruit and stuff but it was good! Then we went to some relatives of Sister Malu in Kent, and they gave us a huge pan of seafood to take home after dinner (and they also had the most beautiful cakes I have ever seen in my life, but I would have thrown up if I had tried them... low key regret it, but I was full at the time haha). And they also gave us gift baskets and stuff, it was so nice  Then we went to some other members  for a lesson, and gave them the seafood because we would not have been able to eat it XD THEN we went to a...

  I 'OFA (love) THE TONGAN WARD Update for this week: We went to a funeral this week because they asked Sister Malu to play the piano, and the chorister Mele secretly ate an Almond Roca, very low key XD she like got it out and unwrapped it very slowly then put the wrapper away and then left it in her hand for a minute. Then she like casually covered her face with part of her shawl and "coughed" and when she uncovered her face again she was chewing  Tongans are very good at eating haha We went to a Relief Society activity where they were making wreaths, and it was super fun! They also had food there, they had like 2 big pans of pasta, and garlic bread, and soda, and salad, and then brought out peach cobbler too! I saw this little old lady (like TINY, maybe 5' 2" or something) PILE pasta onto one plate and then have another plate FULL of salad and bread. Crazy haha. They sent us home with the leftover bread.... we have like 4 or 5 garlic bread baguettes in our frid...

I'm getting transferred again!   Update for this week: I was only in this area for 6 weeks and now they're moving me! Guess where. THE TONGAN WARD! Just south of Seattle haha. And apparently everyone in the mission just calls it Tonga, so I'm going to Tonga! XD Crazy times  We have to completely clean out our apartment now, which is going to take a while, we've already found some super random stuff  This week we got a lot of chocolate milk, because that was the gift given to departing missionaries and Sister Misi is going home   we're literally going to the airport in like 45 minutes haha She's giving me some of her paints though, which I am SO excited about!  ALSO! We've been encouraged to invite everybody to join our mission in doing something...
