 It is SO HOT  Update for this week: We had 3 lessons on Friday, one after the other, and they were all just so amazing!!!! One was with our friend Jesse and we were going to make it a drop lesson because he just was not progressing and he wasn't committing to anything, even to pray to know if what we taught him is true. So we go into this lesson fully expecting to drop him but it went entirely differently!!! We taught him the Restoration very simply and seriously and read part of JSH with him and asked him 1. Do you believe God is your eternal Father? 2. Do you believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior and Redeemer of the world? 3. Do you believe the Book of Mormon is true and Joseph Smith was a prophet of God? And he said YES to ALL OF THEM. We totally thought he was gonna say no to the last one, but he hardly even hesitated 🤯🤯🤯 and then we just told him our purpose and invited him to pray to know whether the things we've taught him were true and what God want...

*beep beep* 🚗🎺 Update for this week: So we had a few FANTASTIC lessons this week, but I just want to share one. We had a lesson with a man named Tang and it was so good. This is like the second time that we've met him, and he'd only met once with missionaries before (he was a referral). He had read the chapter of the BoM that we asked him to and we could see it all marked up with his pencil and  he asked us a few questions about Jesus Christ and who Jacob is and what the House of Israel is and we were able to talk about that and it led to talking about how we know right from wrong and the commandments and we taught about the WoW and he was like "well I drink alcohol but it's not like I'm addicted to it or anything, so it should be easy to give that up" and we were like 🤯🤯🤯 and then we talked more and we shared where he could find certain things in the BoM and he like bent the pages over so he could find them again and then at the end we invited him to be ...

It's like the scriptures are inspired or something, wHo knEw   Ding dong  Update for this week: Soooooo my companion is literally the coolest. She taught someone on the plane ride here and got him to download gospel library and start reading the BoM! Then on her FIRST DAY our car wouldn't start when we got to it because it was having the usual Rav4 2020 battery problem   so we called roadside assistance and they came to jumpstart it and it's all good now  Also this week a random person let us in to teach him and his wife which was CRAZY and totally threw me off cuz that never happens. They weren't super interested, but that's ok, we gave them a pamphlet and they said they would read it  Also this week we invited someone named Jesse to baptism and HE SAID no, but he did say he would read the rest of 2 Nephi 9 (which is what we were reading with...
