Sister Hale in Seattle

 Hellooooo everybooodddyy! Update part of this email: It has been a VERY busy week! Christmas has made everything crazy 😅🥳😂 Last Monday after P-Day ended it actually snowed! Everyone says it never snows BUT THEY WERE WRONG except it only snowed all night and then most of it melted the next day XD it was pretty tho! :) ALSO so my mission had a visiting general authority (Elder Bowen) give a devotional before I came out and from that came some pretty intense goals.... Each companionship has a goal of 180 testifying contacts (any nonmember we testify of a gospel doctrine to) PER WEEK so that's 30 per day. One day this week my comp and I were like "we're gonna get it today," and so we spent pretty much all day talking to LITERALLY EVERYONE WE SAW--even the UPS man (his name is Patrick; he's a nice guy) ... and because we got the go-ahead for tracting this week we were doing some of that for a few hours ... and we were out literally until we absolutely had to go hom...

Good Evening 🧐🕵️‍♀️ When you read you begin with A B C when you sing you begin with Do Re Mi and when you go on a mission you begin with an airplane ride. I didn't get lost, which is AMAZING, but it's probably thanks to my friends Sister Haycock and Sister George (who were both going to Baton Rouge). The flight itself was only like an hour and a half, which was nice, and there were like 12 missionaries on my flight, so I didn't get lost coming out of it either 😎 AND NOW I'M IN SEATTLLEEE!!!!! Well not quite Seattle, but I am in Washington. XD I live in a place called North Bend, which actually isn't in my area but it's fun cuz we're with another set of Sister missionaries. :) My area is the Mount Si ward/area in the Bellevue South stake/zone, and it is literally SO PRETTY 😍😍😍 (also we do have a car, I don't have to ride a bike a million miles a day, which is nice lol). HAIL THE CONQUERING HERO (BADA BADADA NANANA NANANA NANANA NANANAAANAAAAAA) Lol jk but this week was the last week of online MTC!! It's super exciting :))) I think I'm most nervous for the airport cuz I won't have my fantastic companion(s) (shoutout to Sister Eves and also my sisters and mom XD) and I'm probably gonna get lost, let's be honest. Or maybe I'll somehow go through security twice, who knows. 💁 I'm planning on finding some other missionary friends so we can help each other out, so we'll see how that goes... Friday was the very last day of MTC classes and Brother Astle acted as our "final boss" and pretended to be an atheist named Michael (based on someone he knew from his mission) who grew up with his super Jewish step-granddad and worked as a pizza delivery man and we had to teach him a lesson as a district. We talked about the Plan of Salvation and the Atonement and Sister Eves has literally the BEST ANALOGY for the laws of justic...

The prodigal sock has returned! It was placed on my doorknob by my little sister during class this week XD This week was a fun time, as always. Sister Eves and I taught 4 different TRC's this week and we have 5 lined up for next week, so that's exciting. (TRC's are basically practice lessons, for those who don't know) Sister Eves is literally the best companion ever, she's so uplifting and kind and thoughtful. This week on a day at some point we exchanged jokes and hers was "In the fall, what does the yellow tree say to the green tree? Green was SO last season" 😂 Definitely a good bad joke lol. We also taught a couple lessons this week that didn't go quite the best, but we definitely learned from them, so that's good! My lovely companion also told me that in a breakout room with another Elder in our district, he called us both the "master Yodas" of the district, which is a HIGH compliment XD Also this week, Sister Eves and Sister Haycock...
