Sister Hale in Seattle

Sister Hale was a normal missionary doing normal laundry… Except for a single sock who decided to not be normal, because who wants to be normal? Sock wanted to get out of the tiny world it knew, the world of Suitcase and Laundry Bag and Washing Machine. So as Sister Hale was moving her laundry, Sock slipped away silently, disappearing onto the world of Floor. Sock looked around, excited at being able to be on Floor without being squished. Sock jumped for joy and ran around, exploring unknown worlds such as Counter, Chair, Couch, Cupboard, but staying inside was not enough. Sock wanted to explore the Outside. It was a world that did not start with “C” and so it was exciting. Sock wanted to see all that it could in the time that it had. Hey All!! It's been a fantastic week here at the MTC in Fruit Heights, very busy and lots of spiritual experiences. :) My companion, Sister Eves, and I taught our first 3 lessons this week and it was very exciting. I can definitely improve, but overall I think it went pretty well. 😎 Also we had to watch 2 devotionals this week instead of 1 because of Thanksgiving, but I totally forgot about the Thanksgiving devotional so I watched it yesterday instead of on Thursday! XD This week we learned a lot about teaching to people's needs and we "graduated" from teaching the first lesson in Preach my Gospel! (which doesn't really happen, but we're moving on anyways lol). We also got a lot of scriptures and stuff in class to use for different resources, so my wall is filling up pretty well! I'm also getting some more tags in gospel library so that's good too. Hello Friends! Week 1 of the MTC has been amazing! I've already learned so much! It's really amazing what we can do when we put our minds to it :) I have 14 missionaries in my district (including me) which I heard was a lot, but I don't really know since it's the only district I've had XD   My companion is Sister Eves and she's fantastic! We started doing companion study together on the first day and then we found out that we didn't have to start until the third day. I guess we're just overachievers (haha). There's another Sister missionary companionship in our district (one is going to Louisiana which is cool) and the rest is Elders, two of which are going to Spokane, Washington, which is kinda close to Seattle 🤔 Another Elder is from Herriman, so that's kinda fun. On Wednesday we were able to go with Becca while she went through the temple. The entire day it seemed her frame was filled with helium, she almost floated around as she anticipated going, and since then it hasn’t been much different. :-) Since the temples have been closed, it was extra special for all of us to be there--the first time for most of us since the beginning of the year. We didn't want to leave!
