Week 52: I'm going to Tonga!? (Not clickbait πŸ˜‚)

I'm getting transferred again! πŸš‚πŸ˜‚

Update for this week:
I was only in this area for 6 weeks and now they're moving me! Guess where. THE TONGAN WARD! Just south of Seattle haha. And apparently everyone in the mission just calls it Tonga, so I'm going to Tonga! XD Crazy times πŸ˜‚We have to completely clean out our apartment now, which is going to take a while, we've already found some super random stuff πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

This week we got a lot of chocolate milk, because that was the gift given to departing missionaries and Sister Misi is going home πŸ˜‚ we're literally going to the airport in like 45 minutes haha
She's giving me some of her paints though, which I am SO excited about! πŸ˜πŸ˜

ALSO! We've been encouraged to invite everybody to join our mission in doing something... To practice increasing our faith, my mission has been doing something called the "Faith Challenge", and I would love to invite you all to participate! There have been so many miracles that have come to us, and I KNOW miracles will come to you!
For the Faith Challenge, we have an acronym to remember it: SPA
S = study examples of faith (in scriptures and General Conference talks and anything else you can find!)
P = pray for opportunities to act in faith, and PROMISE the Lord you will do so!
A = ACT!!! When we act in faith, it allows those miracles to occur and provides opportunities for us to grow greater faith!

For all you missionaries on my email list, when my mission started doing this before COVID, the baptisms almost DOUBLED. And then we did it again at the beginning of the year, and the SAME THING HAPPENED! Now we're doing it again, so here goes the experiment! πŸ˜‰
For everyone who's not a missionary, there are a lot of blessings and miracles that can happen that aren't based on baptism, and I know the windows of heaven will open for you as you participate! :)

Helaman 3:27-28

We love this scripture because it shows God's love for us. He created a plan for us that centers on Jesus Christ because He knows we will make mistakes. But because of Jesus Christ, we can be forgiven, and find peace and eternal joy!

Happy Easter :)) Update for this week: A lot of fun stuff happened this week! On Wednesday we were at the church waiting for Teresa and her family because we had a lesson set up, but they ended up being late... so one of the counselors in the Bishopric recruited us to talk to the 14-15 yo boys about missionary work   it was awesome, and they had really good questions! Missionary work is a good time :) On Thursday, we took a member of the Samoan ward tracting with us because she's in the MTC! It was super fun, and she gave us a ton of tips for finding Polynesian people  Friday was Zone Conference and it was AMAZING. I learned a lot, especially from the discussion we had about General Conference. I LOVE Elder Uchtdorf's talk, President Nelson's talk, Elder Eyring's talk, and Elder KlebingΓΆt's talk. Finn Hill is awesome and also odd XD Update for this week: Holy cow I LOVE my new companions!!!! They are both so cool and such good missionaries :) Sister Misi is an AMAZING teacher and so good at asking questions and also very artistic. Sister Beckstead is such a good example and is just so sweet and I'm sad she's gonna leave to her original assignment on the 21st because this trio life is just the best ever :( but she will do amazing things in Brazil too! This week we've been SUPER busy, I've been getting to know members and learning names and stuff, and we've had some lessons, tried to find people to teach, and also met a member who has a sword collection, and also antique/replica firearms, and bows and arrows (longbow and a recurve, none of them modern). Week 2.7 Happy Valentine's Day ❤

Mālō e lelei everyone, happy Valentine's day! Update for this week: We had so many people cancel on us this week and I just want you all to know that although I was never a fan of the Superbowl, I am now very much NOT a fan of the Superbowl  This week we got to see Angela again, and we got her number! She is seriously SO ELECT   we were texting off and on the last couple of days, and she told us about how what she's been reading in the Book of Mormon has been helping her and it is absolutely the SWEETEST!!! She's going through a hard time right now, so please pray for her!! We also met a lady named Flanna!!! We didn't know her, but called a number we had for her on Thursday and talked with her over the phone. THEN she said we could come back on Friday, so we taught her then and made her a friend   she is super cool too, and said could come back next week :)) She told us she wants her whole family to go to church, but she doesn't like going to their church becaus...
