Week 11 I think: It is February and I found some Books of Mormon...

Hola 🧙‍♂️

Update for this week:
Not a ton has happened this week...
Except we have some nonmembers who gave us a service referral for their backdoor neighbors! They're super sweet, we spread mulch in their yard in the rain on Saturday and it was SUPER fun 😁 they gave us some of his ceramic stuff he makes to thank us which was super kind :) but it was so fun to find a fellow artist!! 😁😁😁

ALSO our ward is AMAZING and they're all jumping on the missionary bandwagon. We have an upcoming activity for the youth on Wednesday and we're gonna talk to them about the missionary purpose, do a little training, and have a Q&A which is SO EXCITING! We are also creating a video for the relief society about how they can do online finding. AND we're planning a youth missionary Olympics in March which is gonna be super fun!! (Basically they're split into teams and get points based off of what missionary activities they do, like teaching a lesson with their family, doing a "comp study" with someone, doing family history, planning and making a meal, etc) AND THEN the winning team gets to pie the Bishop in the face 😎
Bishop is just awesome, he was like "yeah let's do something crazy to get them excited! I'll do whatever!" So that was really great of him :)

Also I found out we have a box of Books of Mormon in other languages and it was super fun to look through them all!!! I found a couple Polish ones, which was funny cuz we ordered another one like 2 weeks ago 😂😂😂

Scripture of the week (I'm working on memorizing it):
1John 4:16-19:
"And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in Him.
"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that Gareth is not made perfect in love.
"We love him, because he first loved us."

I just love the phrase "God is love". Its sometimes hard to remember that God loves us and is watching over us, but I can testify that He knows each of us individually and loves us unconditionally. He knows us better than we know ourselves. If we turn to Him and allow His love to enter us, He will change us and His power will be with us.

Quotes this week (sorry, there weren't too many that I actually wrote down this week 😅):
•*I asked Sister Wilkerson (the new Sister in our apartment) for a quote* "Just put a weird noise in there" -Sister Wilkerson

Bonus Joke:
Why did the converted Lamanites refuse to wear shorts?

Because they were Anti- Knee High- Levi's 😂

Fun Fact: Paprika came to be when Spanish explorers took red pepper seeds back to Europe, where the plant evolved to be "sweet" Paprika. Pound for pound, paprika has more Vitamin C than citrus fruit

P.S. my orthodontist appointment is this Thursday.... because my retainer broke off... Sister Manning is super excited because it's basically a field trip 😂😂😂

The best breakfast is one with hot chocolate on the side XD

Studying outside while our car is on because we had to let it run for 30 min to fix it and we didn't want it to get possibly stolen... 🤷‍♀️😂
