Ah man I forgot the week
It feels like it's been 20 minutes since last p-day tho
Update for this week:
Apparently Tang is our friend's LAST name. We took him to see a baptism on Saturday and since then he started introducing himself as Peter, so we asked and is full name is Pengcheng (Peter) Tang. So that's kind of fun

We also had a mission tour this week, and it was President and Sister Kearon who came! They were AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THEM! They partly focused on the BoM and how we can use it more powerfully with our testimonies and the Spirit.
I loved what was said about how we thrive on opposition, and it's really true. It's hard, but if you're looking in the right direction and focusing on the right thing it'll be like Peter walking on water to the Savior in the middle of a storm. As long as we keep the focus, we will be safe :)
We met so many great people this week!
We gave out 4 BoMs and made 2 new friends... and President Spataro (our stake president) brought a friend to church who's super interested! And GET THIS. I looked him up on Facebook and we had 1 mutual friend. This mutual friend is someone we met at a nearby park, he had his wife and kids with him, and we talked for a while... they were up here visiting family, but we friended them on Facebook so we could share Sister Kenney's violin video on the stake missionary Facebook page. This guy and the friend of President Spataro have the same last name. We haven't asked yet, but I'm like 99% sure they're BROTHERS

so idk but maybe we can get the whole extended family converted to Christ, who knows

We also met this guy named Daniel and he's pretty cool! He's an atheist, but is interested in learning about religion. We're gonna have a lesson with him and the YSA Elders this week since he's 21... and also a super duper deep philosophical thinker, he was asking questions about like how much of religion is logic and how much is faith, how we can be happy when there's so much bad in the world, and he was talking about how we can't be happy forever because it would be like eating cake all day every day, eventually you get sick of it. He was also thinking about how the spirit world works because apparently humans can't exist outside of time? And apparently he was thinking the spirit world doesn't exist in time or something? Idk, there was a lot to that conversation
it was really fun though:)
it was really fun though:)Scripture of the week:
Mosiah 4:11-12
" And again I say unto you as I have said before, that as ye have come to the knowledge of the glory of God, or if ye have known of his goodness and have tasted of his love, and have received a remission of your sins, which causeth such exceedingly great joy in your souls, even so I would that ye should remember, and always retain in remembrance, the greatness of God, and your own nothingness, and his goodness and long-suffering towards you, unworthy creatures, and humble yourselves even in the depths of humility, calling on the name of the Lord daily, and standing steadfastly in the faith of that which is to come, which was spoken by the mouth of the angel.
And behold, I say unto you that if ye do this ye shall always rejoice, and be filled with the love of God, and always retain a remission of your sins; and ye shall grow in the knowledge of the glory of him that created you, or in the knowledge of that which is just and true."
Funny Quotes:
• "Are you going through puberty again?" - a member in our ward

• "If I had my own planet, I would make SO MANY whales" - Daniel
Fun Fact:
Apparently according to physics(?), humans are human because they exist in 3 spatial dimensions and 1 time dimension, and a human can't exist outside those parameters without stripping or adding parts
