Week 2.3 eavesdropping and kittens
I'm not gonna lie. Weekly emails are such a commitment. And sometimes I am so lazy. But. I will try to make this one good

Update for this week:
We went knocking on people's doors a lot this week, in many different apartment complexes, and found many people that were interested! Except that least one of them may not actually be interested... here is the story haha
So basically, this guy named Isaac lived on the 3rd floor. We knock on his door, talked to him,got his number, gave him a pamphlet, and he said we could come back! Then we leave and knock on the rest of his downstairs neighbors XD
We got to the last door on the first floor, which is like under the stairs, and nobody answers (which was a #miracle) because then Isaac and his friends come out of their apartment and one of them is like "are the mormons gone?? I wanna talk to them!" And not in a nice way haha so we just... waited under the stairs... while we heard them complaining about "the mormons ALWAYS coming to their door"

it was actually really funny but also super awkward haha

it was actually really funny but also super awkward hahaWe ALSO talked to a lot of people that we were able to give copies of the Book of Mormon to! There was this one man we talked to who was Russian, but super interested! He had a cute son who brought out their kitten for us to pet, it was so sweet :))) I love cats haha
AND our friend Kaydence is basically SET for baptism on the 29th! She turns 10 on her baptism day, which is so sweet! We're gonna go through the interview questions with her on Thursday, and then her interview is next week! We are so so excited and happy for her! She and her family have come a long way :))
Scripture of the week:
2 Nephi 1:15
"But behold, the Lord hath redeemed my soul from hell. I have beheld His glory, and I am encircled about eternally in the arms of His love"
Funny Quotes:

• "My leg falling asleep reminds of in Carebears...." "OH ummm.... Sleeeeepy?" "You're not gonna be able to guess it. It reminds me of that one movie where there's like a raccoon Carebear in a tunnel and the other Carebears are in a boat like going down the tunnel and it's all dark, and then they come out the other end and have an extra Carebear that's a raccoon" -me and Sister Perkins as she dies laughing
• "This is like... warm towel just of the dryer, but in your mouth. Ya know, comfort food. You can't get the same thing from cereal" -Hermana Parkin
