Week 2.6 is a miracle

I woke up this morning and thought it was Sunday and I didn't know I even slept. Good thing we're not getting transferred today, or I'd be EXTRA tired probably πŸ˜‚

Update for this week:
Well it has been a busy week and I don't remember most of it πŸ˜‚ BUT there were so many miracles this week, it was crazy. Like seriously millions I swear. I will just share a couple πŸ˜

Ok biggest miracle probably. We went to stop by an inactive member that we only had a missionary record for, not a church record. Her granddaughter Angela answered the door, and she was super nice! We introduced ourselves and talked for a but and it was super sweet. We asked if we could share a scripture with her before we left and she said YES, so we shared Alma 7:11-12 (seriously one of the best scriptures) and she started CRYING and she was like "you have no idea how much I needed this right now" and she told us a little bit about some of her struggles and thanked us for coming over. So we gave her the Book of Mormon and she was SO HAPPY and she said she would definitely read it! She didn't have a phone or something, so she wrote down our email and told us she'd contact us.
SO. A few days later rolls around and we haven't heard anything (*enter sarcasm* big shocker XD) but we planned our day so we could go see her again! Turns out, we didn't really need to because SHE EMAILED US πŸ₯³πŸ€―πŸ₯³ and she basically like introduced herself again and was like thank you so much for the "awakening" and she basically told us she wanted to join the church... and then at the end she quoted Enos 1:4 (which I will share below). AND she wants us to come over today, so that was awesome too :)) we are SO EXCITED for her!!!! πŸ₯³

Another miracle! We had a pass-off lesson planned with the Elders in the Samoan ward! (A pass-off lesson is where we all go see the person and introduce them to their new missionaries and have a lesson). We were going to visit this man named Tai, who we randomly contacted while he was on his porch last week. The first time we talked to him, we talked about prayer and gave him a pamphlet about the Restoration. He said we could come back on Thursday at 1pm.
So Thursday rolls around and we go to Tai's apartments and start knocking on doors while we wait for the Elders to get there. They messaged us and said "we may or may not be late" and we were like ok so they're gonna be late XD so 1:15pm rolls around and we're like ELDERS WHERE ARE YOU. But as we're standing there, Tai walks out onto his porch and we're like uhhhh "Hey Tai!" And he was like "Hey!" And so we started talking to him and we ended up having SUCH a SOLID lesson about the Restoration, it was absolutely amazing. :))
We told him the first vision and showed him the picture of it in the pamphlet we gave him last time and we were like "it sounds crazy huh?" And he was like "yeah" and we were like "do you believe it?" And he was like "yeah, I believe it" it was SO COOL. So then we got a return appointment for NEXT week and left XD (we promptly called the Elders, who apparently had a lesson go late but they were still at their apartment and we were like πŸ€¦‍♀️🀦‍♀️ y'all missed out but they're gonna come next Thursday lol and bring a Book of Mormon in Samoan so it's easier for Tai to read πŸ₯³) but yeah it was just super cool :))

Lots of miracles this week, and that's only a couple! There have been SO MANY PEOPLE that we've been trying to get in contact with for SO LONG and we've finally gotten in contact with them. It is AWESOME. πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³
I feel like we're gonna have a million baptisms in the next couple of months XD

Scripture of the week:
Enos 1:4
"And my soul hungered; and I kneeled down before my Maker, and I cried unto him in mighty prayer and supplication for mine own soul; and all the day long did I cry unto him; yea, and when the night came I did still raise my voice high that it reached the heavens."

Funny Quotes:
• Me *starts singing* Elders "what just happened" Sister Perkins "this is normal"
• "Women are stronger and better than men because men were made by God taking the dirt and putting spirit into it. But women were made by God taking one of our bones and making it into a woman. So that's why women are stronger" -Sitini

Fun Fact:
Manioke is the normal Tongan starch they eat with things (kinda like a potato but also not)

A cute sign on someone's door we knocked

Part of our zone (2 companionship were in quarantine πŸ˜…)
