She's going through a hard time right now, so please pray for her!!We also met a lady named Flanna!!! We didn't know her, but called a number we had for her on Thursday and talked with her over the phone. THEN she said we could come back on Friday, so we taught her then and made her a friend
she is super cool too, and said could come back next week :))
she is super cool too, and said could come back next week :))She told us she wants her whole family to go to church, but she doesn't like going to their church because it doesn't make her feel good

So we're gonna get them all to church soon hopefully

We also met with Kaydence, our new convert, and she is just the sweetest :)) we read 1 Nephi 1 with her and it was great. We love Kaydence!
Scripture of the week:
Mosiah 23:21-22
"Nevertheless the Lord seeth fit to chasten his people; yea, he trieth their patience and their faith.
Nevertheless—whosoever putteth his trust in him the same shall be lifted up at the last day. Yea, and thus it was with this people.
Funny Quotes:
• "It's a good thing these coconut chunks don't choke me" - me discovering that coconut pulp is merely chunks of coconut XD
• (Background: there's a tree that the crows nest in and whenever we park under it they poop on our car) *us parking at night* "Dang it, the only spot that's left is the poop spot" - me
• "Sometimes I wonder what would happen if Medusa braided her hair" "the snakes would probably kill each other" "wait but wouldn't they kill each other anyways then? WHAT IF MEDUSA had random dead snakes on her head??" "ewwwwww" *hours later* "here's the thing.... if Medusa had random dead snakes on her head what would she do with them?" "stop you're giving me the chills" - me and Sister Perkins

Fun Fact:
When the guy who discovered Tonga was entering one of their houses, the door was super low so he said "too low" and the Tongan people adopted that as "tulou" which is what you say, out of respect, when you're passing or reaching in front of someone

In the sacrament program for the closing prayer (lotu tuku) it says to fakaafe'i, which means "by invitation" ![]() ![]() ![]() |
