Week 3.4 Happy Conference Weekend :))

Y'all. Baptism.

Update for this week:
It has been an AMAZING week :)))
We went to the temple on Tuesday, and it was AMAZING. The temple truly is the house of God, and when I go to the temple it feels like coming home :))

On Saturday and Sunday was General Conference, and it was absolutely AMAZING!!!! Especially the women's session, if you haven't seen/listened to it yet, I would HIGHLY recommend :))
Elder Renlund was the closing speaker for it, and one thing he said that I really liked is that "God's love is perfect. Our ability to feel that love is not." And then he talked about receiving revelation and humility and stuff, which was awesome :)))
I also really like President Nelson's talk at the end of conference, about positive spiritual momentum! It's something we all need in life, and sometimes it's hard to start or begin, but it gets easier as we go!
I just know that all of these church leaders are truly inspired of God, and if you want to hear God's voice all you need to do is listen to the servants He has chosen!

On Saturday was also Teresa's BAPTISM!!!! IT WAS SO AMAZING!!! :)))) It turned out just perfect and she was so ready to get it done :)))
We got lots of pics with her haha 😁
And also, funny story, afterward they had cookies and milk and stuff and one of the little kids was just standing by the table while everyone was leaving (most people were gone at this point) and I look at him cuz there is just so much going on, and this kid just opens his mouth and vomits on the table and it was soooo gross but so funny cuz nobody super cared, they just mopped it up with some napkins 🤣

Scripture of the week:
Mosiah 3:8-10
"And he shall be called Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father of heaven and earth, the Creator of all things from the beginning; and his mother shall be called Mary.
And lo, he cometh unto his own, that salvation might come unto the children of men even through faith on his name; and even after all this they shall consider him a man, and say that he hath a devil, and shall scourge him, and shall crucify him.
And he shall rise the third day from the dead; and behold, he standeth to judge the world; and behold, all these things are done that a righteous judgment might come upon the children of men."

Funny Quotes:
(Low key I have no clue if I've already shared some of these XD)
• "My literal neck is a xylophone" -Sister Anderson
• *on our call with the Elders* Sister Anderson: "Does this sound like a firework?" *does a super high pitched sorta almost whistling noise that totally sounds like a firework* Elder Boyd: "it sounds like a dying cat. Fireworks have explosions at the end" Sister A: "ok ok" *does the whistly noise again with an explosion sound effect* Elder Boyd: "Now it sounds like a cat fell down the stairs"
• *using cheese that went bad for a quesadilla and it starts to stink* "The smell isn't cheese and it's not tortilla, it's just stinky" -Sister Anderson
• "They've got places to BE at 2:20 PM" -Sister Anderson
• "I'm a little like Joseph Smith, I have a pillar of light exactly over my head" -Elder Loris
